Watanabe Miyuki’s first Photobook DVD and Blu-ray “Miruneko" ranking in Oricon

Watanabe Miyuki’s first DVD and Blu-ray “Miruneko" (released in July 2nd) has sold 4579 and 5723 copies respectively. According to Oricon DVD & Blu-ray ranking, the DVD ranked in #10 and the Blu-ray got #8 position. In idol image category, both the DVD and Blu-ray grasped the #1 place.

Blu-ray Disk ranking was announced for the first time in July 2008. This is the first time in history that in idol image category both DVD and Blu-ray Disk enter top 10 chart. It has been 2 years and 8 months since a female idol, AKB48’s Oshima Yuko released “Kimi wa Boku no Mono" DVD in November 2010 which is recorded to reach the #8 spot.

In November last year, Watanabe Miyuki released her photobook “Mirukami" and had photobook showdown with member from the same group, Yamamoto Sayaka (19) to get privilege to act in a CM. The DVD & Blu-ray is focusing on the making of the photobook. There’s also special video segment which shows Watanabe’s chapuchapu (bathing) scene.
